Portable Sculptures are a series of limited edition tote bags realised by Whet Shine for Villa Lontana. Each one represents a different sculpture from the Santarelli Collection spanning from the I century BC to the XVIII century AD. In conversation with Villa Lontana Whet Shine has been invited to respond to 30 sculptures from the collection and make a portrait of each character. Each one is unique and hand-painted by the artist using acrylic on recycled grey cotton.

Limited edition urban wear made by Edoardo Servadio and firstly generated in dialogue with the exhibition MEMORY GAME. For each of the 35 neighbourhoods of Rome Servadio reconsiders its representative coat of arms, through Giovanni Battista Piranesi’s seminal etchings connected to the iconography and symbolism of the city. The artist revisits the historical iconography of these locations using a combination of artistic and toponymic approaches. Villa Lontana is situated in Tor di Quinto’s neighbourhood.
